Quakin' In the Paint: Payton Quake Junior Season Top Performances (2022-23)

 

- A 5'8" senior center/power forward at East Noble High School in Kendallville, Indiana.

- Averaged 8.2 points and 6.0 rebounds per game as a junior during the 2022-23 season.

- Opened said junior campaign with 10 points, six rebounds, and three assists in a 55-37 win over Westview on Nov. 5, 2022.

- Recorded eight points and seven rebounds during a 60-53 loss at Fort Wayne Concordia Lutheran on Nov. 15.

- Scored 16 points and grabbed seven rebounds in a 44-37 victory at New Haven on Dec. 3.

- Went four-of-six from the free-throw line en route to six points and six rebounds at Angola on Jan. 4, 2023.

- When Payton worked out a double-double, the Knights were winners in 2022-23. She produced 16/10 in a 48-34 win at Prairie Heights on Jan. 17 and 14/10 in a 49-47 triumph over West Noble on Jan. 24.

- Scored 17 points and added seven rebounds during sectionals against Carroll (Fort Wayne) at DeKalb High School on Feb. 3.

A two-time regional champion, Hughes concluded her prep career with averages of 9.6 points, 2.4 rebounds, 1.5 assists, and 1.8 steals per game for the Lady Eagles. A 5'8" shooting guard, Reagan canned 169 three-pointers over the course of four varsity seasons. What is your favorite movie? Reagan:  " My favorite movie is How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days. - A 5'2" lefty-hitting freshman at North Posey High School in Poseyville, Indiana. - A high average hitter with good speed and a touch of power. - Batted .391 with two doubles, two triples, one home run, and 11 runs batted in as a freshman during the spring of 2024. - Hit a triple in her first career start for the Vikings at South Knox on Apr. 9, going 3-5 with two runs scored. - Went 1-3 with a double and drove in two runs in a 11-0 win over Shakamak on Apr. 20. - Stole two bases during a 15-3 victory over South Spencer on Apr. 26. - Went 2-3 with two runs scored in a 7-0 win over Pike Central on May 7. - Hit her first career home run in the fourth inning of an 8-5 victory over Mt.
