Washington Township's Clair Klinger: Top Junior Season Performances

 

- A 5'5" junior guard at Washington Township High School on the east side of Valparaiso, Indiana.

- As of Jan. 10, Clair was authoring impressive averages of 11.9 points, 5.6 rebounds, 4.1 assists, and 3.2 steals per game.

- Swiped at least five steals in each of her first four games this season.

- Opened her season with a double-double with 12 points and 10 rebounds in the Senators' 36-33 win over Culver Academy on Nov. 1.

- The following week, recorded 16 points, nine rebounds, and seven assists in a win over River Forest on Nov. 7.

- Scored a season-high 20 points in 52-26 victory at Wheeler on Nov. 14.

- Tallied 12 points and five rebounds in a 44-31 win over DeMotte Christian on Nov. 18.

- Recorded nine points, six rebounds, five assists, and six steals in a 49-36 win over Boone Grove on Dec. 1.

- Produced 11 points, seven rebounds, five assists, and seven steals in victory at Griffith on Dec. 19.

- Scored 13 points (one three-pointer, 10/14 from the free-throw line) and added five rebounds and six assists in a 51-39 win over Hobart on Dec. 28.

- Recorded eight points, 10 rebounds, and seven assists in a 58-57 loss to Portage on Dec. 29.

- Made five three-pointers against Munster on Jan. 2.

- Was good on four of her six three-point attempts en route to 15 points, five rebounds, and five assists during a 45-42 win at Tri-Township on Jan. 5.

- A 72 percent free-throw shooter (39/54) as of Jan. 10 and 40 total three-pointers made on the season with many more sure to come.
