Evansville Reitz's Bailey Hape: Sophomore Season Top Performances

 


- A 5'10" sophomore guard at Reitz High School in Evansville, Indiana, and one that can truthfully play any position on the floor.

- Averaged 13.3 points, 4.6 rebounds, 3.0 assists, and 1.8 steals per game as a sophomore this season, earning herself a second team all-conference selection.

- Nailed six three-pointers in the Panthers' season opener, a 54-41 win over Vincennes Lincoln on Nov. 4.

- Recorded 10 points and eight rebounds in a 54-43 win at Evansville North on Nov. 17, including three-of-seven from three-point range.

- The next day, Hape led with 18 points and added four rebounds, three assists, and four steals during a 55-47 win at New Albany.

- Led the Panthers with 16 points and five assists in a tough road win at Jasper on Jan. 18… 46-42.

- Recorded 15 points and four rebounds in a 58-48 victory at Boonville on Jan. 23.

- Made a three-pointer during sectionals against North on Feb. 2, scoring 13 points and concluding her sophomore campaign with 46 total threes.

- A 78 percent free-throw shooter during the 2023-24 season.
