Jac-Cen-Del's Reagan Hughes: Senior Season Top Performances

 

- A 5'8" shooting guard at Jac-Cen-Del High School in Osgood, Indiana.

- Averaged 11.9 points, 3.0 rebounds, 1.5 assists, and 2.0 steals per game this past season.

- Made 58 three-pointers during the 2023-24 season at a clip of 34 percent (58/169).

- Recorded 15 points (four-of-four from the free-throw line) and seven rebounds in a 65-33 win at Milan on Nov. 14, the site of the movie Hoosiers.

- Scored a team-high 14 points and added four rebounds in a 52-42 win over Batesville on Nov. 24, connecting on four-of-eight from three-point range.

- Went for 20 points during a 43-38 loss at South Decatur on Nov. 28.

- Dished a season-high six assists along with four steals and 11 points in a 62-46 win at Waldron on Dec. 5.

- Scored 18 points in a 54-32 victory at New Washington on Dec. 9, connecting on five-of-eleven from three-point range and three-of-six from the free-throw line.

- Recorded 16 points and five rebounds in a 71-48 win at Lawrenceburg on Jan. 10.

- Made seven three-pointers en route to a season-high 25 points in a blowout at Southwestern two days later on Jan. 12.

- Scored 14 points during a 58-39 win over Raising Sun on Jan. 18.

- Connected four-of-six from three-point range in a 49-37 win on Jan. 23, scoring 15.

- During the sectional championship at Southwestern on Feb. 3, Reagan went two-of-five from three-point range in 49-41 victory over Oldenburg Academy.

- Scored 11 points (two-of-seven on threes) and grabbed six rebounds in the 62-40 semi-state loss to eventual Class A champion Lanesville on Feb. 17.

- As like her junior season got to the free-throw line frequently, where she was good for 70 percent (91/130).

- Concluded her prep career with an incredible total of 169 three-pointers made over four seasons.

A two-time regional champion, Hughes concluded her prep career with averages of 9.6 points, 2.4 rebounds, 1.5 assists, and 1.8 steals per game for the Lady Eagles. A 5'8" shooting guard, Reagan canned 169 three-pointers over the course of four varsity seasons. What is your favorite movie? Reagan:  " My favorite movie is How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days. I love it because it’s the perfect mix of sporty/girly all in one movie! " What is y our favorite food? Reagan:  " My favorite food is the Texas Roadhouse rolls with the cinnamon butter. I believe that’s pretty self-explanatory! " Who is your favorite athlete? Reagan: " My favorite athletes right now are Tyrese Haliburton and Caitlin Clark. - A 5'2" lefty-hitting freshman at North Posey High School in Poseyville, Indiana. - A high average hitter with good speed and a touch of power. - Batted .391 with two doubles, two triples, one home run, and 11 runs batted in as a freshman during the spring of 2024. - Hit a triple in her first career start for the Vikings at South Knox on Apr. 9, going 3-5 with two runs scored. - Went 1-3 with a double and drove in two runs in a 11-0 win over Shakamak on Apr. 20. - Stole two bases during a 15-3 victory over South Spencer on Apr. 26. - Went 2-3 with two runs scored in a 7-0 win over Pike Central on May 7. - Hit her first career home run in the fourth inning of an 8-5 victory over Mt.
