New Prairie's Morgan White: Junior Season Top Performances (2022-23)


- A 5'10" senior shooting guard at New Prairie High School in New Carlisle, Indiana and commit of Daemen University in Amherst, New York, where she will begin her college career in the fall.

- Averaged 11.9 points, 4.1 rebounds, 2.0 assists, 2.0 steals, and 0.7 blocks per game as a junior during the 2022-23 season.

- Made 33 total three-pointers during the 2022-33 campaign.

- Recorded 16 points and four rebounds in the season-opening 64-35 win at Concord on Nov. 1, 2022.

- Produced 13 points, five rebounds, and two blocks during a 51-36 win over South Bend St. Joseph on Nov. 10.

- Scored 12 points and added four rebounds and two assists in a 69-61 loss to South Central on Nov. 12, connecting on two-of-five from three-point range.

- Scored a season-high 26 points during a loss against state power South Bend Washington on Dec. 6.

- Recorded 11 points (one three-pointer) and six rebounds in a win at Jimtown on Dec. 15.

- Went two-of-seven from three and four-of-four from the free-throw line in a 57-50 win at Argos on Dec. 20, producing 12 points, four rebounds, two assists, and three steals.

- Made three three-pointers in a 62-32 loss at Penn on Jan. 3, 2023.

- Recorded nine points, five rebounds, two assists, and three steals in a 41-27 victory over Walkerton Glenn on Jan. 6.

- Collected 12 points, four rebounds, and four assists during a win over South Bend Riley on Jan. 12, connecting on two-of-six from three-point range.

- Scored 20 points in a loss against Bremen on Jan. 19.

- In her final home showing of the season, Morgan scored 14 points and equaled a season-high with six rebounds in a 57-48 victory over Mishawaka on Jan. 24.

- An 81 percent free-throw shooter (44/54) as a junior.

A two-time regional champion, Hughes concluded her prep career with averages of 9.6 points, 2.4 rebounds, 1.5 assists, and 1.8 steals per game for the Lady Eagles. - A 5'2" lefty-hitting freshman at North Posey High School in Poseyville, Indiana. - A high average hitter with good speed and a touch of power. - Batted .391 with two doubles, two triples, one home run, and 11 runs batted in as a freshman during the spring of 2024. - Hit a triple in her first career start for the Vikings at South Knox on Apr. 9, going 3-5 with two runs scored. - Went 1-3 with a double and drove in two runs in a 11-0 win over Shakamak on Apr. 20. - Stole two bases during a 15-3 victory over South Spencer on Apr. 26. - Went 2-3 with two runs scored in a 7-0 win over Pike Central on May 7. - Hit her first career home run in the fourth inning of an 8-5 victory over Mt.
