Q&A With Northeastern Senior Ady Kircher


A 5'6" combo guard who has received offers from Defiance College, IU East, Judson University, and Trinity Christian, some of Andy’s top prep performances include:

- Scoring a game-high 23 points while adding three rebounds, four assists, and six steals during a 65-24 win at Anderson on Nov. 19, 2024.

- Made 40 total three-pointers as a sophomore during the 2023-24 campaign.

- Scored 20 points, including three three-pointers, and added five rebounds, two assists, and five steals in a 51-21 win over Union County during sectionals on Feb. 2, 2024.

- And as a freshman, recorded 19 points and three rebounds in a 50-45 victory over Yorktown on Dec. 17, 2022.

What is your favorite movie?

Kircher: "Love & Basketball."

What is your favorite food?

Kircher: "Mashed potatoes."

Who is your favorite athlete?

Kircher: "Kyrie Irving."

What was your proudest moment as a basketball player to this point?

Kircher: "Last year when we won sectionals for the first time in 13 years."

Where do you foresee yourself in ten years' time?

Kircher: "A college graduate from the school that gives me an opportunity to play college basketball with a successful career."

Do you have any specific goals you'd like to accomplish between now and this time next year?

Kircher: "I'd like to make a deep run in the state tournament with the team I'm on right now."

If you could go anywhere for a seven-day vacation, where would it be?

Kircher: "The Exumas."

How would you best describe your strengths on the basketball court?

Kircher: "My best strengths on the basketball court is bringing a lot of energy to whatever team I'm playing with. Also, just being smart with my drives to the basket and my shots."

Who or what would you say is your greatest inspiration?

Kircher: "My parents are my greatest inspiration because no matter what, they always show me and give their best efforts in whatever they're doing."

Outside of basketball, what is your favorite downtime activity?

Kircher: "Outside of basketball, I like to hang out with my cousins and family."

Any random fact you would like to share about yourself?

Kircher: "Every single person in my family has played or is playing basketball, including all of my cousins."

Q&A With New Prairie Senior Randi Robakowski

Current NP senior Randi Robakowski , along with her older sister Abby ( whom she in fact referenced in this session ), led the Cougars to the 3A state softball title in 2023. On July 30th of last year, Randi committed to Davenport University for softball and made her signing official last month. While she does not possess her sister’s pure power, Randi has more than held her own in batting average. During her sophomore campaign of 2023 in which New Prairie won it all, Robakowski batted .467 with 12 doubles and 34 RBI. Q&A With LaFargeville (NY) Senior Emeline Barton

This one was conducted back in October, and Emi has continued to light up scoreboards both before and after this particular interview. LaFargeville Central School is located just west of the Adirondack Mountains, and Barton holds the school's all-time career scoring record for both boys and girls. Emi made seven three-pointers in a blowout of Sackets Harbor on Dec. 5.
